FREE internal wall insulation

Internal wall insulation is the insulation of the internal surface of the external walls, so it is a great alternative to external wall insulation and in our opinion a better measure for properties with good character.

Nearly half of all heat loss from solid walled properties occurs by heat escaping through the walls. Insulating these walls will slow down the rate of heat loss and keep the warmth inside your home for longer.

Internal wall insulation works by adding an extra layer of insulation to the internal walls and can really improve the standard of finish in your property.

Our internal wall insulation is installed by mechanically fixing and gluing insulated PIR boards on to existing walls within your property.

Do I qualify?

As a guide, homes built before 1930 are often solid wall and would be perfect for Internal Wall Insulation.

If you live in a flat or a maisonette that was built before 1976, then even if you have a cavity wall, it is most unlikely that the cavity was insulated. So, you may qualify for Cavity Wall Insulation.

If you live in a flat then you should have at least 2 external walls available for insulation. If you live in a detached or semi-detached house, or a bungalow, you should have at least 3 external walls available for internal wall insulation.

How much can I save?

According to the Energy Saving Trust an Internal Wall Insulation of a standard semi-detached house can cost around £7,400. With ECO3 funding you can have IWI for free.

You could save up to £400 per year on your property.
